Ian Morgan

Mr Ian Morgan is a Consultant Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 35 years of clinical experience across the United Kingdom and the United States. He trained in Edinburgh and London before further specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the USA, bringing an international perspective to his surgical practice and a deep understanding of training frameworks across different healthcare systems.

Prior to his career in aesthetic surgery, Mr Morgan held a consultant appointment in Cardiothoracic Surgery at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, giving him a breadth and depth of surgical experience that few in the cosmetic field can match. His clinical expertise spans facial aesthetics, breast surgery, and body contouring, and he is recognised for his meticulous precision in surgical technique - particularly in suture work - and his commitment to achieving natural, proportionate outcomes for every patient.

An ambassador for the British Association of Body Sculpting (BABS), Mr Morgan has long been an advocate for structured training and higher professional standards within the cosmetic surgery sector. As Programme Director of the BCCS Fellowship, he plays a central role in shaping the credentialling framework, overseeing examination standards, and ensuring that fellowship training produces surgeons of the highest calibre. His combination of international training, extensive clinical practice, and dedication to surgical education makes him a cornerstone of the BCCS faculty.

Alexandra Chambers

Dr Alexandra Chambers is a cosmetic surgeon and dermatologist with both UK and international credentials spanning more than three decades. She trained at the prestigious A. V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery in Moscow, where she was awarded the MD and PhD with highest honours. Based in the United Kingdom since 1992, she was admitted onto the register of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2000, and has since logged thousands of aesthetic surgery procedures across facial, breast, and body contouring disciplines.

Dr Chambers holds board certification from both the International Division of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and was named Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2017. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has contributed numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed articles to medical journals.

A founding member and past President of the British Association of Body Sculpting (BABS), Dr Chambers has been a pioneer in establishing best practices for aesthetic surgery in the UK. Through the BABS fellowship programme, she has trained many UK surgeons in gynecomastia surgery, liposuction, and facelift techniques. As Programme Director of the BCCS Fellowship, she brings unparalleled experience in both clinical practice and the development of training standards, credentialling frameworks, and professional governance for cosmetic surgery.

Mubashir Cheema

MBBS, MRCS, FRCS (Plast), MRM, EBOPRAS

Mubashir Cheema is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience across both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. After qualifying in medicine in 2001, he completed basic and advanced surgical training in the UK, becoming a Member and later Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He holds a Masters in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has cleared the European Board for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).

His international training includes a seven-month fellowship at Akademikliniken in Stockholm, Sweden - Europe's largest cosmetic clinic - where he was involved in over 500 cases under the mentorship of Professor Per Heden, gaining first-hand experience in breast augmentation, mastopexy, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty. He also completed a Clinical Immersion Fellowship at Hospital Sant Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona and a Hand Surgery Fellowship at University Hospital Birmingham.

Mubashir Cheema has held consultant appointments at Nottingham University Hospitals and University Hospitals Birmingham, and has spent over seven years teaching on an NHS-accredited surgical skills course. He is a faculty member of the FRCS (Plast) examination preparation course, has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals including PRS, ASJ, and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and is the author of Principles and Practice of Plastic Surgery. A strong advocate for patient safety and the regulation of cosmetic surgery providers, he brings both clinical authority and a commitment to raising training standards to the BCCS faculty.

Mabroor Bhatty

Mabroor Bhatty is a Consultant Cosmetic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his medical degree at Karachi University before moving to the United Kingdom, where he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1992. He went on to complete his Diploma in Plastic Surgery and became a member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPS), before further specialising with a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby.

His career spans both the UK and internationally, having held a consultant appointment and assistant professorship at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi between 1999 and 2010 before returning to the UK as a full-time cosmetic surgery consultant. He has since performed hundreds of cosmetic procedures across facial surgery, eyelid procedures, and complex body contouring - with a particular expertise in contouring surgery for patients who have undergone significant weight loss, one of the most technically demanding areas of body sculpting.

Mabroor Bhatty is a published academic, having contributed to the British Journal of Plastic Surgery and other peer-reviewed publications, and has delivered lectures advancing knowledge in the field. His combination of international clinical experience, specialist expertise in complex post-bariatric body contouring, and commitment to the highest standards of surgical care makes him a valued member of the BCCS body contouring faculty.

Tony Mangubat

Tony Mangubat is a Board-Certified Cosmetic Surgeon with over three decades of clinical experience and a distinguished career in both aesthetic surgery and surgical education. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine, studied surgery at the University of Kentucky, and received his cosmetic surgery training from Dr Richard C. Webster, the founding president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).

Since establishing his private practice in 1987, Tony Mangubat has performed procedures for over 10,000 patients across breast enhancement, liposuction, facial and body contouring, and reconstructive surgery. He holds fellowship of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and currently serves as President of the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery - a role that reflects his standing within the international cosmetic surgery community.

A dedicated surgical educator, Tony Mangubat has served as a Fellowship Training Director for the AACS for almost two decades, personally mentoring twenty fellows to date in the safe and accurate performance of aesthetic procedures. He has led live hands-on surgical training across six continents, and is a regular speaker at international conferences including the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery and the Austrian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. His exceptional depth of clinical experience, commitment to training the next generation of cosmetic surgeons, and international leadership in the field make him a significant addition to the BCCS body contouring faculty.

Ashish Dutta

Ashish Dutta is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon with over two decades of dedicated practice in aesthetic surgery and medicine. He qualified in medicine in Kolkata in 1986 before relocating to the United Kingdom, where he gained extensive experience across multiple surgical specialities including general surgery, trauma, emergency medicine, orthopaedics, and obstetrics over a seven-year period. He holds the LRCP, LRCS, and LMSSA from London, Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University.

Ashish Dutta completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship and gained board certification through the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He was awarded Fellowship of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2016 in recognition of his contribution to the field. His clinical expertise spans liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, facial surgery including blepharoplasty and facelift procedures, and he was among the first practitioners in the UK to introduce advanced laser and skin tightening technologies into cosmetic practice.

A founding member of the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Ashish Dutta holds significant leadership roles across multiple international professional bodies — serving as Secretary of the European Society of Aesthetic Surgery (ESAS), Secretary of the British Association of Body Sculpting (BABS), Vice President of the International Division of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and Education Committee Chair of the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is the ESAS nominated representative to the European Commission CEN TC-403 for the standardisation of aesthetic surgery services, and is an examiner for the World Board of Cosmetic Surgery. His extensive international leadership, commitment to training standards, and clinical experience make him a distinguished member of the BCCS body contouring faculty.

Samir Ghoraba

Samir Ghoraba is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over twelve years of experience and a career encompassing more than 10,000 surgical procedures. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University with distinction and honours, going on to complete both a Master of Science in General Surgery and a PhD in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the same institution. He holds the Intercollegiate MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

His clinical experience is extensive, including over 800 deep plane facelifts, 2,800 rhinoplasty procedures, 3,000 body contouring cases, and more than 300 complex microvascular reconstructions. He has received training across multiple international centres including the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Taiwan, and Turkey, working with renowned professors in facial surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring. In the UK, he has held a visiting appointment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he performed microsurgical procedures.

Samir Ghoraba combines his clinical work with an active academic career, having been appointed Lecturer in Plastic Surgery and published six international research papers in peer-reviewed journals with a particular focus on facial microsurgery. He was awarded an excellence award by Tanta University Council as the youngest plastic surgeon to pioneer microsurgical reconstruction, and was named Ideal Doctor in Egypt by the Egyptian Medical Syndicate in 2021. He is an active member of ISAPS, AOCMF, and the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery. His exceptional volume of facial surgical experience and international training background make him a valued member of the BCCS face and neck surgery faculty.

Ali Juma

Ali Juma is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with over 33 years of experience in the field, including 22 years at consultant level. He studied medicine at the University of London before completing his surgical training in the UK, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He has held NHS consultant appointments at the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Preston Hospital, and Wirral University Hospital, including serving as Clinical Lead for Plastic Surgery.

His clinical practice spans the full breadth of aesthetic surgery including facelift and facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, breast surgery, and body contouring procedures. He has built a reputation for meticulous surgical technique and a patient-centred approach, with all procedures performed in accredited centres of excellence and in strict adherence to Department of Health guidelines on informed consent and patient care.

Ali Juma has made a significant contribution to surgical education, serving as an Honorary Lecturer in Medical Education at the University of Liverpool for nine years and as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in General Surgery (MRCS/FRCS) for seven years. He currently holds the position of Clinical Lead for Continuous Professional Development at the Royal Society of Medicine. His extensive NHS and private sector experience, commitment to surgical education, and dedication to the highest standards of patient safety make him a distinguished member of the BCCS face and neck surgery faculty.

Ahmed Alsayed

Ahmed Alsayed is a GMC-registered surgeon with over 16 years of clinical experience and a professional logbook of more than 25,000 procedures. He earned his MBBCh from Zagazig University in 2010 and completed a Master's Degree in Surgery at Ain Shams University in 2014. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSi) and a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS).

His clinical practice spans face and neck rejuvenation surgery, upper and lower blepharoplasty, body contouring, and intimate surgical procedures, with experience gained across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. In the UK, he has held a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Burns and Plastics at Swansea Bay University Health Board and holds full licences to practise in multiple jurisdictions. He holds approximately 40 professional certifications including ATLS, CCrISP, ABLS, and Non-Technical Skills for Surgeons (NOTSS).

Ahmed Alsayed has authored ten publications in peer-reviewed journals covering wound management, operative techniques, patient safety protocols, and burn management, and is the patent holder of the AspiRing device designed to help prevent accidental vascular occlusion during dermal filler injection. He has been recognised with the Scottish Cosmetic Surgeon Award in three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025. His extensive operative volume, international training, commitment to patient safety, and contribution to surgical innovation make him a valued member of the BCCS face and neck surgery faculty.

Robert Shumway

Robert Shumway is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified cosmetic surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science cum laude from Arizona State University before completing his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He went on to train in general surgery and thoracic surgery at Duke University Medical Center, followed by a residency in head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the same institution.

He holds board certification from both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Laser Surgery, and the International Board of Cosmetic Surgery, where he serves as an examiner. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).

Robert Shumway is recognised for his expertise in breast augmentation, including pioneering the transumbilical breast augmentation (TUBA) technique in Europe - a procedure performed by only a small number of surgeons internationally. He has served as past President, faculty, and trustee of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery and past Chairman of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery. A prolific international educator, he has lectured and instructed across Europe, South Korea, India, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, and Mexico, and holds university affiliations with six major institutions. His breadth of clinical expertise, international teaching record, and leadership across multiple professional bodies make him a distinguished member of the BCCS breast surgery faculty.

Hisham Abouzeid

Hisham Abouzeid is a Consultant Gynaecologist, Obstetrician and Gynaecological Surgeon with over 25 years of clinical experience and thousands of procedures performed. He earned his MBBCh from Ain Shams University before completing his MRCOG and subsequently being awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2016. He holds a Master's Degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University and is certified in both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery by the RCOG.

He currently holds an NHS consultant appointment at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Greater Manchester, where he serves as Lead for Gynaecological Oncology and Colposcopy at Rochdale Infirmary. His clinical expertise spans major abdominal, vaginal, and laparoscopic surgery, with a particular specialisation in cosmetic gynaecological procedures including labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, vaginal rejuvenation, and vaginal prolapse repair. He holds colposcopy accreditation from the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP).

Hisham Abouzeid is an active surgical educator, training colleagues in the RCOG Advanced Training Skill modules including Colposcopy, Gynaecological Oncology, and Laparoscopic and Benign Abdominal Surgery. He has published research in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and contributed peer reviews to the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE). Mohan Thomas

Mohan Thomas is a US-trained, triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon with an extensive career spanning clinical practice, academic surgery, and international surgical education. He graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he holds both Doctoral and Post-Doctoral degrees. He completed residencies and fellowships at several prestigious institutions including Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York University Hospital in general surgery, facial plastic and maxillofacial surgery, and cosmetic surgery.

His further fellowship training includes aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery in New York, cosmetic breast surgery in St. Louis, rhinoplasty in Chicago, and breast and body contouring surgery in Buenos Aires - giving him an international breadth of specialist training that few surgeons can match. He has held the position of Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Chairman of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases and Orthopedic Institute in New York, and is currently Honorary Professor and Chief Mentor in Advanced Cosmetic Surgery at DY Patil Medical University in Mumbai, where he trains six fellowship candidates annually.

Mohan Thomas has accumulated over 7,500 hours of continuing surgical education and is recognised as a pioneer of endoscopic cosmetic surgery. He is Founder President of both the Asian Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the Society of Cosmetic Surgeons, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery - where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015. He has authored and contributed to several textbooks and scientific journals, and is a lead presenter at major international conferences. His exceptional depth of training, international academic standing, and lifelong commitment to advancing cosmetic surgical standards make him a distinguished member of the BCCS intimate surgery faculty.
